AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Features
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

This release also brings the game's third no-cost story episode, titled "The Enigma."
